Fair Pricing Initiatives — Why I’m Increasing My Prices & What I’m Doing to Keep Facials Accessible

A lot has changed since March. I’ve moved into my beautiful new luxury garden studio and massively upgraded the treatments I offer, creating a much more elevated experience for my clients.

With those changes comes an increase in my prices — and whilst I know nobody particularly enjoys hearing that, I want to be completely transparent about why I’m making this change and, importantly, what I’m doing to keep my facials accessible.

I hate that facials are a luxury for many as I am so passionate about their value both physically and mentally.

I believe that we should aim to live lives where we pour into our communities whilst also taking time to keep our own cups full.

For many of us, including working mums, this sometimes feels impossible.

It is my wish to treat as many busy women as possible and allow them to leave my studio feeling far better than when they arrived.

You are reading this so I am assuming you are interested, so let me level with you…

Being self employed is expensive. All the tech required, all the products, tax, pension, sick pay, holiday pay. My one to one appointment with each client has to cover that. I found myself working longer hours for even less spare money and unfortunately those costs must get passed on to make the business viable.

That being said, I do not want my business to only reach those with financial privilege. I want to be able to reach those who really need it.

So, whilst my prices are increasing, I want to be transparent about why — and also share the things I do to help make my treatments accessible to those who may otherwise not manage an appointment.

Fair Pricing Initiatives

Pay What You Can

I offer 3 Pay What You Can facials per month.

I offer a 10% Blue Light discount on the Bespoke Facial 60 minute before 2pm, Monday–Thursday.

Bespoke Facial 60 minute only. Direct bookings only, not via Treatwell. Please make that you are a Blue Light holder on your booking.

Facial Gift Vouchers for Fundraising

I regularly donate facial gift vouchers to help fundraising initiatives.

I know that increasing prices is never easy to hear, especially when something you value already feels like a luxury.

But I also want to be honest about what goes into keeping a small, independent business running and making sure that I can continue to give every client the time, care and attention they deserve.

I hope these initiatives mean that, even as my prices change, there are still ways for the women who really need some time and care to access it.

Because looking after yourself is so important, I don’t want cost to be the only thing standing in the way.

Thank you for supporting my little business. Every booking, recommendation, kind word and returning visit genuinely means more than you know.
