Business Precautions

Covid Policy Update
Masks are no longer mandatory in close contact settings however they are advised.
I will continue to wear a face mask for all treatments. For the foreseeable future it will be optional for clients if you wish to wear one or prefer not to.
I do still ask that if you are experiencing covid symptoms please reschedule your appointment. If a member of my household tests positive you will be informed and given the option to reschedule.
Covid guidelines are continually under review.
Cancellation Policy and Covid
As I am sure you can appreciate, covid-19 has been incredibly hard for small businesses. Any cancellations and schedule changes come directly out of my income.
If you can’t make it to your appointment due to illness (yours or mine) then of course you can cancel with no penalty.
Cancellation Policy Non Covid
It is always my preference not to charge someone for an appointment that they have not had regardless of the reason.
As a mum of two young children, I understand how many plates we are all spinning day to day and I understand that cancellations can be necessary.
As a gesture of goodwill you will not be charged for your first cancellation however if it happens on two consecutive occasions you will be charged.
Please expect to pay 50% of your appointment fee if you cancel within 24 hours.
Habitual last minute schedule changes will result in mandatory, non refundable prepaid services.
This helps protect everyone, if I experience a high level of cancellations this will effect my pricing structure and will have a knock on effect to those clients who never cancel.
As a small independent business, any last minute schedule changes come directly from my pocket so I thank you in advance with being considerate with appointment changes.
Beauty Salons and Spas are renowned for their high standard of hygiene so there are not too many changes.
Here are some extra precautions I have put in place to minimise risk of contamination.
Appointments and Arrivals:

I will allow extra time between each client to ensure that I can thoroughly disinfect all areas and equipment used between clients. My room will be ventilated in between clients. Timings are going to have to be strict for myself and you. PLEASE try not to be late.
Please wait in your car or outside until I message you to come to the door to avoid overlap of clients.
Hand washing and sanitising:
Upon arrival, please use sanitiser provided.
I will, as ALWAYS, wash my hands before and after each client.
Please wear a mask if you can.
I will wear a mask at all times.
As ALWAYS I will wear gloves and I NEVER double dip the spatula which lowers risk of infection.

Your Health:
Prior to attending your appointment all clients will be required to fill out a short, electronic health questionnaire relating to covid 19. I will send this to you directly before your appointment.
If you (or someone in your household) has any symptoms relating to Covid 19, or has been feeling unwell in the 48 hours prior to your appointment, please contact me to rearrange your appointment.
I will not charge a cancellation fee for any cancellations relating to Covid.
Payments:
Where possible please complete a transfer or PayPal on the day of your service.
Finally:
Covid-19 has been hard for everyone regardless of circumstances. I am thankful that we are starting to get back to normal and I so appreciate everyones support and cooperation during this challenging period of adjustment,
